Driving Directions
Getting to the Outer Banks is easy and once you are here, navigating the Island is simple. We are located on the beach road at mile post 8.5 in Kill Devil Hills.
From the North
- Take I-95 to I-64 East (toward Williamsburg)
- Continue to I-664 to Monitor-Merrimac Bridge Tunnel
- Merge onto VA-168 S via EXIT 291B
- Stay straight onto N Croatan Hwy/US-158 E
- Turn left onto E Ocean Bay Blvd
- Turn right onto S Virginia Dare Trl/NC-12
- Shutters is on the left around MP 8.5
From the South
- From I-95 take 64 East around Rocky Mount
- Stay onto US-64 E via EXIT 515 toward Manteo
- Cross the Baum Bridge to Nag's Head
- Continue North on 64/158
- Turn right onto Neptune Dr
- Turn left onto S Virginia Dare Trl/NC-12
- Shutters is on the right around MP 8.5
